Education needs to prepare students for a rapidly changing world and workplace.
Education will help solve many of our world’s problems (job changes through automation and AI, poverty, populism, etc.). And we know the direction education should take, developing the 4 Cs: critical thinking, communication, creativity and cooperation; but also break down the silos between areas of study and ensure gender equality. It isn't that difficult to make sure each course fosters the 4Cs and collaborate with other professors to ensure learning across disciplines. We can all make a difference.
